        Matt Avellino  

Matt is a professional soccer player who has played for the Wilmington Hammerheads of the USL-2 and the NY Red Bulls Reserve Team in the MLS in 2008.

In college, Matt graduated from Stony Brook University in 2007 after transferring from St. John’s University where he went to the NCAA Division I National Final in 2003. He was captain of Stony Brook in 2007 and was a member of the 2005 America East Championship team.

He has also played amateur for the Long Island Academy of the NPSL; Fenerbahce USA of the New York Champions League; and the Fort Wayne Fever and Brooklyn Knights of PDL. He played ENYYSA ODP for 7 years and Region I ODP.

His coaching experience includes being a full time Academy coach and trainer in the Three Village Soccer Club, summer camps with the Wilmington Hammerheads and Markovic Academy of Soccer, and training the Northport Rush U15 Girls.

Dan Salazar

Dan is a professional soccer player who has played for Academia Quintana F.C. in the Puerto Rican 1st Division in 2008.

In college, Dan graduated from Stony Brook University in 2008 after transferring from Penn State University. He was captain of Stony Brook in 2006 and was a member of the 2005 America East Championship team.

He has also played for the Fort Wayne Fever of PDL, Fenerbahce USA of the New York Champions League and Brentwood Galaxy FC where he also served as captain.

His coaching experience includes 5 years with the Markovic Academy of Soccer and 2 years of coaching in the Three Village Soccer Club. Dan also holds a NSCAA Regional Diploma.  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

Yahaya Musa

Yahaya is a professional soccer player who has played for Academia Quintana F.C. in the Puerto Rican 1st Division in 2008.

In college, Yahaya attended Stony Brook University. He was captain of Stony Brook in 2006 and 2007 and was a member of the 2005 America East Championship team. In addition, he was 1st team All America East in 2007 and 2006, 2nd team All America East in 2005, and America East Rookie team in 2004.

He played amateur for the Kalamazoo Outrage, the Long Island Rough Riders, and the Fort Wayne Fever of the PDL; and Fenerbahce USA of the New York Champions League. He also played 3 years of ENYYSA ODP.

His coaching experience includes summer camps with the Markovic Academy of Soccer, Head Coach of U13 Girls in Three Village Soccer Club and U11 Boys in Sayville Soccer Club.  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

Mike Palacio

Mike is a professional soccer player for the New York Red Bulls of the MLS. He was drafted in the second round (21st overall) of the MLS Supplemental Draft in 2008.

In college, Mike attended Stony Brook University. He was a member of the 2005 America East Championship team. He was a three-time selection on the All-America East First Team and was named to the NSCAA All-Northeast Region Second Team in his junior season. He was named the America East Midfielder of the Year in 2006.

He played amateur for the Long Island Rough Riders and Fort Wayne Fever of the PDL. He also played for B.W. Gottschee.

His coaching experience includes working with the Long Island Rough Riders from 2006 to 2008. He was director of player development in the East Windsor Soccer Club. In addition, he was a partner with Zizo Sherif owner of Zizo soccer academy in South Jersey and an Academy Coach in the Markovic Academy of Soccer in 2007.  

  

  

  

  

  

Zaid Hamarsha

Zaid is a Division I Men’s Soccer player. He played at Stony Brook University where he started school in 2007.

He played amateur for Merrick NOGA Soccer in the Northeast Premier League and was a member of the Empire State Team in 2006 and 2007. He graduated from Valley Stream High School and was captain of the Varsity team.

His coaching experience includes the Markovic Academy of Soccer, Coastal Soccer and Three Village Soccer Club. In the Three Village Soccer Club, Zaid is the Head Coach for the first year Academy (Ages 7-8) and in addition, helps coach the second year Academy as well.  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

Dave Fromayan

Dave is a Division I Men’s Soccer player. He played at the University of Evansville in Indiana and the University of Connecticut under Coach Ray Reid.

He played amateur in the ENYYSA ODP Program and the Region I ODP Program. In High School he was an All-State performer at Bay Shore High School.

His coaching experience includes being the Assistant Junior Varsity Coach at Bay Shore High School. He also holds a coaching license.

  

  

  

 

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

   Martin Lynch

Martin is a Division I Men’s Soccer player. He played at Stony Brook University where he was team captain in 2008. He was a 4-year starter and member of the 2005 America East Championship team.

He played amateur for the Long Island Rough Riders and the Fort Wayne Fever of the PDL; and Fenerbahce USA of the New York Champions League.. At Oceanside High School he was 3 years All Conference, 2 Years All Nassau County, and 1st Team All New York State. He was a 5 year member of B.W. Gottschee Soccer Club and played 3 years in the ENYYSA ODP program.

His coaching experience includes being a trainer at Oceanside United Soccer Club Camps from 2004-2008. He was also a member of the Soccer4U Training Staff from 2007-2009.  

  

  

  

  

  

  

    

Chris Scarpati

Chris is a Division I Men's Soccer player. He played at Stony Brook University where he was a part of the America East Championship team in 2005. He was named to the America East All-Rookie team in 2002  and was All-America East Second team in 2005. He holds the record at Stony Brook for most career games played.

He played amateur for FC Westchester and won a state title in 2001. At Half Hollow Hills East High School he was a 4 year Varsity starter, 3 years All Conference, and All County. He played in the Region I ODP program for 2 years and the ENYYSA ODP for 4 years.

His coaching experience includes training teams in the Stony Brook Soccer Club. He trained the Stony Brook U12 girls team in 2007 and the Stony Brook U12 Boys Team in 2006. In addition, he trained at Franz St. Lot’s Soccer Academy from 2003-2004 and worked with Paul Riley training teams from 2001-2002.  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  Sean Lynch

Sean is a Division I Men's Soccer player. He plays at Princeton University where he is a Goalkeeper.

He played amateur for Blau Weiss Gottschee where he was an ENYYSA State Cup Champion 2 times and Super Y League National Finalist. He was a member of the Region I ODP Team for 3 years and a 5 year member of the ENYYSA ODP Program. At Oceanside High School he was All Region, All State, All Long Island, All County and All Conference. He also took part in the adidas Elite Soccer Program in 2006 which is for the top 120 high school prospects in the country.

His coaching experience includes being a staff member of Soccer 4 U. He also has done private individual goalie training and worked a variety of youth clinics for Oceanside United Soccer Club.  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

    

Hristo Kaloferov

  

Hristo is an international soccer player who has played for Asenovetc Soccer Club in his native country of Bulgaria.

During his tenure with Asenovetc Soccer Club, he placed 3rd at the Bulgarian National Championships, was Runner-Up for the Bulgarian Cup, won the Plovdiv's Conference 4 times, and was named All-Conference 3 times.

In college, Hristo graduated from Molloy College in 2005 after transferring from St. John's University. He was captain of Molloy in 2005 where he led the team to the best defense in the school's history.

His coaching experience includes being the Assistant Coach of Concordia College in Bronxville, NY and over 6 years of experience training teams with Ultimate Athletics.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

 

  

     Jerome Vivona

Jerome played NCAA Division I soccer at Quinnipiac University where he won an ECAC Championship.

In addition, he trained for three years with US National Team Coaches Walt and Eugene Chyzowych at All American Soccer Camp in Long Branch, New Jersey.

Jerome boasts a much decorated coaching resume. He holds an NSCAA National Diploma (distinguished pass) as well as an FA Youth Coaches Certificate, Positive Coaching Alliance Double Goal Coach Certificate; LIJSL "B" license, State and Advanced Regional Diplomas. He is a proud member of the NSCAA. American Red Cross Certified First Aid, CPR/AED.

Jerome is a staff coach for the US Youth Soccer / LIJSL ODP program, The NY Red Bulls Academy and EMSC. Jerome trains numerous travel teams (Div1-6), developmental teams and intramural players and spends a great deal of time working individually with single players and small groups seeking to master their technique and push their fitness capabilities to the max.

Rob Sardis

Rob is a NCAA Division I Men's Soccer player. He played at Fordham University in the Atlantic 10 conference. During his tenure at Fordham he was awarded preseason All-Rookie team.

He played amateur for Merrick Red Storm in the Northeast Premier League. He won the Tampa Bay Sun Bowl with the Red Storm and the team was ranked 6th in the United States. He graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School where he was a standout on Varsity. He won the State Championship in '01 and was honored 3-times to the All Queens and All NYC teams. He was also a member of the ENYYSA Olympic Development Program.

His coaching experience includes being the Assistant Varsity coach at Archbishop Molloy High School where he has helped lead the team to a Brooklyn-Queens Championship, a NYC Championship, and the NY State "A" Finals. He has also coached a U12 travel team for the past 5 years.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  Amanda Hemme

Amanda is a NCAA Division I soccer player who has played for Stony Brook University of the America East Conference.

During her tenure at Stony Brook University, she started many games as a goalkeeper. She helped lead the Seawolves to an America East Semi-final in 2008. She was also a member of the ENYYSA Olympic Development Program for 7 years.

Her coaching experience includes being Assistant Coach for the Long Island United Redwolves U-13 girls' team. With the Redwolves she won the ENYYSA State Cup in spring 2009. They went on to compete at the Region I Championships in West Virginia with Amanda's help. She has also been doing individual training for goalkeepers for young keepers of all ages.  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

Stephen Damore

Stephen is a Division I Men's Soccer player. He has played at both St. Peter's College and Stony Brook University as a Goalkeeper.  

His coaching experience is vast. He has coached Goalkeepers of all ages for the past 5 years. He holds a USSF national "D" License and will be going for his "C" License this summer. In addition, he will also be receiving the prestigious NSCAA Goalkeeping License.  

Stephen has also coached both girls and boys teams in the Three Village soccer club for the past 3 years. His accomplishments include winning the Waldbaums Cup in his 2nd year of coaching with Girls Stony Brook U12 Storm and he has also won LIJSL Division 1 Championship.  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

           Izzy Cotto

Izzy is a NCAA Division I Men's Soccer player. He played at St. John's University and Dowling College as a Central Defender where he was a part of NCAA National Finalists teams at both schools.  

He played amateur for Hewlett NOGA where he won 5 ENYYSA State Championships and 2 Region I Championships. His team was ranked Top 10 in the United States. At East Islip High School he was All Region, and a State Finalist.

In addition he played for the Brooklyn Knights and Long Island Rough Riders of the PDL. Izzy had a great experience in Italy training with Catania FC.

His coaching experience includes 3 years with Coastal Soccer, 2 years with the United States Soccer Academy, 2 years with the East Islip Boys Varsity Soccer League, and doing summer camps with NOGA soccer.  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

    Mike Baranowitz

Mike is a NCAA Division I Men's Soccer player. He played at University of Albany as a Defensive Central Midfield player.

He played amateur for the Merrick Red Storm in the Northeastern Premier League. The team won multiple ENYYSA State Cups, the Tampa Bay Sun Bowl, and was ranked nationally.

In addition, he was captain of the LIJSL Select Team for 2 years and was a 4 year Varsity player at Commack High School where he led his team to 2 County Championships.

His coaching experience includes training U12 and U13 Travel Teams in addition to years of experience doing individual training. Mike was also a volunteer coach at Commack High School.
